The Planning & Development Division of the Community Development Department assists policy makers, property owners, developers and citizens regarding growth and new development while stabilizing and conserving existing development. The planning process - including zoning, platting, and site plan submission - is important to ensure that development standards and requirements are met. The Planning & Development Division reviews all plans for new development and redevelopment to initiate compliance with the Allen Land Development Code.
